I’ve come to realise that the spaces we create around us have a quiet but powerful influence on how we feel, and amid busy careers or full calendars it’s the simplest pleasures and ordinary moments that shape a true feeling of contentment. Fern and Willow is a celebration of this philosophy.
Over the past few years, my partner Alex and I have slowly transformed our house into a place that reflects the things we love most. Not perfection, but comfort. Not trends, but timelessness. A home filled with thoughtful details, organised spaces, fresh flowers from the garden, joyful treasures, and outdoor space to fuel the senses.
Along the way, I discovered that some of life's greatest pleasures are often the simplest ones: styling a shelf with all our personal treasures, planting something new and watching it grow into something breathtaking, finding the perfect paint colour after trying 30 swatches, organising a neglected under stairs cupboard, or sitting in the garden on a summer’s evening listening to the bees hum in the borders.
These small acts of creativity brought me far more joy than I ever expected and reminded me how important it is to make space for the things that truly light us up.
Fern & Willow is my way of following that feeling and bringing this passion to life.
This is a place for timeless interiors, organised living, cottage garden inspiration and thoughtfully curated finds. More than that, I hope it becomes a community of people who share a love of creating beautiful spaces and finding joy in the everyday.
